| 2022 Championship | Matthew McClean of the Republic of Ireland, defeated fellow countryman Hugh Foley, 3 and 1, in the 36-hole championship match at Erin Hills in Erin, Wis. It was the first-ever U.S. Mid-Amateur final between international players, and McClean became the second foreign-born champion, joining 2019 titlist Lukas Michel.
